The elastic band is pulled from the back of the loom, around the disk, holding everything in place. Then, you attach threads vertically and weave horizontally, before unhooking everything and sewing the last side to the garment. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEnjoy it! I've seen others complain that the 21-hook variant breaks easily. If you are going to buy a cheap variant, do not buy any other than the one with 14 hooks! I understand that everyone has different finances, so there's no shame in choosing a cheaper variant, but then it must at least work reasonably well!
