The paper is transparent, so you can trace figures, shapes, and letters, for example. But don't forget they need to be mirror images! \u003cbr\u003eIf you draw first, it's still a good idea to iron a larger piece than just the motif itself, so that when you cut out the patch, you cut through a layer of adhesive\/paper, thus getting the adhesive all the way to the edges of the fabric so it adheres better. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe panda patches in the picture are made using this technique.
