McNett Aquasure (Aquaseal) glue, elastic Urethane compound, which does not become completely rigid when cured. Aquasure is the industry standard for maximally effective repairs to wetsuits, drysuits, watersports equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, rubber boots, and hundreds of other items that can be glued outdoors or in the household. The surface or area being glued becomes soft and rubber-like after curing. Cures overnight, or 12-24 hours depending on the size of the job.
If the adhesive is used with Gear Aid Cure Accelerator, it cures in 2 hours.
The adhesive remains soft and pliable, making it ideal for patching tears in tents, waders, rubber boots, clothing, etc.
Common uses in diving/watersports:
- Installation of wrist/neck seals on drysuits.
- Minor repairs to wetsuits, wet shoes, gloves, etc.
- Attaching pockets to drysuits, or sealing small holes or tears in the suit.
