A darning loom can make repairing worn clothes faster, easier, and even more fun.

We currently sell one variant:
14 hooks - wooden disk 6.4 cm - hooks approx. 4.5 cm total width

It comes with elastic bands, instructions, and a small booklet with weaving patterns they have created.

You attach the disk under the hole in the garment and place the loom against it so that the round metal plate fits into the notch on the disk. The elastic band is pulled from the back of the loom, around the disk, holding everything in place. Then, you attach threads vertically and weave horizontally, before unhooking everything and sewing the last side to the garment.

(Darning loom and darning weave are used somewhat interchangeably. Old devices found in museums, for example, are referred to in archives as darning looms, but some now call them darning weave or mini looms).

You might come across cheaper versions of these online. The most important thing for me is that you repair! But I will continue to sell this version, which is of better quality, and I know where it is produced and that those who make it share the profits among themselves.

Those who sell the cheaper version use images from MissionXGoods and another producer, Alexon Ver, in their ads and on product pages, and the product you receive is not as pictured. If you buy a cheaper version, do not buy the one with ten hooks! They do not spread the hooks further apart like these do; they just make fewer hooks, so you don't have room for thicker thread, just a smaller working area. I've seen others complain that the 21-hook variant breaks easily. If you are going to buy a cheap variant, do not buy any other than the one with 14 hooks! I understand that everyone has different finances, so there's no shame in choosing a cheaper variant, but then it must at least work reasonably well! And it's good to know that the images and instructions are stolen from others.
