Gear Aid (formerly McNett) Seam Grip adhesive is an award-winning repair adhesive that can keep you dry in all weather conditions. It is a flexible adhesive that permanently seals the seams of your tent, backpack, and rainwear. It can also repair tears, rips, and holes in your equipment. Can be used on all types of fabric, including vinyl, nylon, and canvas.
The surface or area where the adhesive is applied becomes soft and rubbery after curing. Cures overnight, or 12-24 hours depending on the size of the job.
If the adhesive is used with McNett Cotol, it cures within 2 hours.
Common uses:
- Patch holes in air mattresses or sleeping pads.
- Repair holes and tears in gaiters/straps from ice cleats
- Seal seams on hiking boots
- Seal seams in general
