With these kits, you can learn and practice various embroidery stitches and create beautiful coasters, patches, or similar items from your learning.
When I first started visible mending, I knew little about embroidery, and after about a year, I made something similar to these, with a few rows of different stitches I found online. After that, my mends became much finer, varied, and creative. With these sweet kits, you get an introduction to different techniques with colors and patterns that go well together, and you get to test your skills on a floral motif at the end!
The included instructions are in Japanese, but you will receive a link to English instructions that you can download after the purchase is complete (contact us if anything doesn't work, and we will send them by email!)
A needle and embroidery floss are included with each kit. Feel free to use an embroidery hoop for a more even result.
The English instructions have the names of the stitches, so feel free to search YouTube for extra guidance. A great gift for yourself or others who enjoy handicrafts or want to be more adventurous with creative mending.
Each color has different levels. Green is the easiest, white is medium, and blue is the most advanced.
