When you buy one of these material kits, you get access to recordings of two darning webinars included.
You will learn about darning on different materials, variations of the technique, tips for a neat finish, and how to reinforce before a hole appears. We darn with and without a darning loom, and with a darning mushroom and/or an embroidery hoop. We use 3 different threads so you get varied experience and can more easily choose thread for future projects.
The kits contain:
- 1 x Fabric patch for test sewing, approx. 15 x 30 cm
- 1 x Textile marker that disappears with water
- 2 x Long darning needles
- 1 x Kogin thread
- 1 x Sashiko thread
- 2 x Darning thread
- 1 x Darning loom or 1 x darning mushroom or neither
If you don't already have a darning mushroom or darning loom, I recommend buying the kit with one of the two, but I also sell without for those who already have them.
