This project is a bit more advanced than the wildflower project bag. If you are a beginner, I recommend you try out the Wildflower Project Bag first. However, the instruction booklet for Engblomster (Meadow Flowers) has step-by-step pictures, which Wildflower does not, so it can be used by those with little experience as well, but this project requires a bit more patience.
There will be a webinar series for the project later, but probably not until the fall of 2026. An instruction booklet is included, and the project can be completed without the webinar.
The kit includes:
- Fabric bag with the pattern screen-printed on, printed in Oslo, sewn from 100% linen, surplus material, at the Fair & Square factory.
- 9 skeins of mouliné yarn (Olympus)
- 2 needles
- Needle threader
- Solufix 10 x 15 cm (for tracing and transferring motifs from the booklet to other textiles)
- Soluvlies 15 x 21 cm (for tracing and transferring motifs from the booklet to other textiles
- Instruction booklet

In collaboration with La Humla Suse (Let the Bumblebee Buzz), we will create more embroidery kits featuring important insects for Norwegian ecosystems and the flowers that help them survive.
This motif is a playful and creative start to that work, where I explore some of the flowers we plan to work with further.
