With this package, you get access to recordings of 2 webinars where we use the contents of the package so you can get started with clothes mending.
You will learn about different types of needles and threads, and what suits what. We will look at stabilization and other aids, show how to avoid common "mistakes," and practice some practical stitches for everyday repairs.
The color selection of threads in the beginner's kit and darning kit will vary depending on our stock, but we keep it quite neutral: white, blue, black, grey, dark green, etc.
The kit includes:
7 needles from John James attached to a fabric patch that can be used for patching/reinforcing (2 embroidery needles/tapestry needles, 1 chenille needle, 2 sewing needles, one long darning needle, and one yarn darning needle)
Vliesofix for making your own patches, for example
Solufix water-soluble stabilizer that can be drawn on, stuck to what you are sewing on, embroidered over, and then rinsed away in the wash
