This fabric has pre-printed sashiko patterns for you to embroider! The pattern disappears when washed. NB: Do not iron the fabric before washing it, as the print may become permanent!
These dotted ones are perfect if you want greater freedom to try out different patterns you've found online or want to test your own designs. With the printed dots, you don't have to spend a lot of time drawing grids!
1 pack comes with a piece of fabric that can be folded, and it has a print on one half. You can sew through both layers, a bit like a quilt, or just through one, before sewing the edge. These can be used as cushions, towels, or napkins. When finished, it measures approx. 34 x 34 cm. The fabric can also be used for patching or other small sewing projects.
These fabrics come without thread and needle. You will need about 3 x 20 m to sew one of these (or 1 x 100 m).

Hanafukin is slightly different from the technique in the video. The main difference is that it is important to hit the stitches more precisely, as each stitch helps build up the pattern instead of dotted lines, but the way to hold the needle and thread, fasten the thread, etc., is the same.
