With this kit, it's easy to get started!
Here you get everything you need and more for your first sashiko repairs. (Sashiko is not just about repair; it is also used to reinforce and decorate before something is broken, but it has become popular outside Japan primarily as a repair technique.)
The kit includes:
- 2 sashiko needles,
- palm thimble (leather),
- 100 m white sashiko thread and two fabric pieces
- Cotton fabric 100 cm x 20 cm with 6 printed patterns that wash off
- Takumi fabric. Cotton 100 cm x 20 cm. Inspired by traditional Japanese textiles. Can be used for small sewing projects or for patching as is.
