This is fabric with a pre-printed sashiko pattern you can embroider! The pattern will disappear when washed. NB: Do not iron the fabric before washing it, as the print may become permanent!
1 package comes with a piece of fabric that can be folded, and it has a print on one half. You can sew through both layers, much like a quilt, or just through one, before sewing the edge around. These can be used as cushions, towels, or napkins. When finished, it measures approximately 34 x 34 cm. The fabric can also be used for mending or other small sewing projects.
These fabrics come without thread and needle. The black circle on the package indicates how many 20-meter skeins of sashiko thread you need for the design.

Hanafukin is a little different from the technique in the video. It is important to hit the stitches more precisely as each stitch contributes to building up the pattern instead of dotted lines, but the way to hold the needle and thread, fastening the thread, etc., is the same.
