Buy fabric with pre-printed sashiko patterns that you can embroider!
The pattern will disappear in the wash. NB: Do not iron the fabric before washing it, as the print may become permanent!
Sold as 1 length of 60 cm with all 8 patterns represented. 1 unit is 60 x 109 cm of printed fabric. Each print is approximately 30 x 26.5 cm.
In the pictures, one fabric length has been cut into individual prints. When purchased, you will receive all of them as a continuous length.
They can be used as ordinary fabric for embroidery, or to repair or reinforce other garments.
Instructions for sashiko will eventually be available on this website, but it will take some time. Many have requested sashiko supplies for a long time, so I am choosing to sell them before I can provide instructions in Norwegian for those who want them.
Search for sashiko on YouTube to find a lot of good help! There are also dedicated sashiko groups on Facebook, for example, and several handicraft associations offer sashiko courses, so check a handicraft association near you!
