These water-soluble patterns make embroidery easier. Cut out, stick onto the garment, embroider, and rinse away the patch with water. Only your stitches will remain!
The kit contains:
- 1 pattern printed on Solufix, A6 size
- Instructions
- 1 illustration*
- 2 skeins of Mouliné thread
- 1 chenille needle
We have created instructions with suggestions for stitches, method, and thread thickness, and thread and needle are included.
*The instructions also include the illustration, so you can use blank Soluvlies, Solufix, or carbon paper to copy the design multiple times once you have used up the printed Solufix. More information on how to do this can be found in the instructions.
If you want to try embroidery, or know someone who does, these are perfect small, low-threshold "starter kits".
These floral motifs are taken from the "Wildflower Project Bag" and "Meadow Flower" collections. If you feel ready for a larger project, you can find the wildflower kit here and the meadow flower kit here. Everything is pre-printed on the bag, which is a bit more comfortable to sew on than through Solufix and fabric, but it is a much larger project.
