Repair or decorate with the Maru Bishamon pattern! It can be a bit tedious to draw from scratch yourself, so we have developed cardboard templates for you to use.
Instructions on how to use them are included, as well as a sashiko needle, thread, and palm thimble.
To use these, you will also need a marker of some kind, such as a fabric pencil, pen, or disappearing ink marker. We have a selection under "marking tools". Many who sew already have these, so we have omitted them from these sets for now.
One of the fun things about these templates is that you can draw the pattern quite freely, making it easier to compose and experiment with the placement and shape of the area you are drawing the pattern, as you can build it up gradually with the templates.
