Solid color embroidery thread (DMC Cotton Embroidery floss) for decorating and repairing clothes. The embroidery floss is of high quality, colorfast, durable, and Oeko-Tex certified.
To avoid an overly long dropdown menu, the product has been divided. Here you will find colors 01-169, as well as BLANC, ECRU, and B2500. A link to all other colors is at the bottom of the product description.
The last images are color charts of all the colors, so you can start there and note down which ones you want. In the color chart, they are sorted by color, but in the menu and on the images here, they are in numerical order, making it easier to find the number you are looking for.
For embroidery and repairing clothes with embroidery thread, I recommend cutting the desired length and then splitting the thread so that its thickness matches what you are repairing. If you use very thick thread on a thin fabric, you risk creating holes and wear at the transition between the embroidery/repair and the rest of the garment. The embroidery floss consists of 6 strands twisted together into a thick thread. You can therefore use anywhere from 1 to 6 strands for what you are sewing. For wool underwear, 2 strands are often quite suitable.
