The embroidery floss is of high quality, colorfast, and durable. For embroidery and repairing clothes with embroidery floss, I recommend cutting the desired length and then splitting the thread so that the thickness matches what you are repairing. If you use very thick thread on a thin fabric, you risk getting holes and wear at the transition between the embroidery/repair and the rest of the garment. The embroidery floss consists of 6 strands twisted together into one thick thread.
