Kogin is a type of embroidery that resembles Norwegian smøyg or counted thread embroidery. Geometric patterns are created by covering areas of fabric with horizontal stitches, counting through loosely woven fabric and building up the pattern row by row.

With these kits, you can make a purse with a metal clasp. Use it to organize sewing supplies or other small items, to take with you on the go, or as permanent storage at home.

The kit contains thread, fabric, lining fabric, needle, and a clasp/purse opening for a lovely purse.

The finished purse measures approximately 12.5 cm x 12.5 cm.

NB! The included instructions are in Japanese. They largely consist of illustrations, but if you have never sewn before, it might be a bit difficult to interpret them. Many smartphones have translators you can use by taking a picture of text, so that's one way to make the instructions easier to understand.
