"Lettfiks is about how you can make clothes last, partly through adaptation, alteration, and repair, partly by preventing unnecessary wear and tear, and partly by reusing and recycling clothes within your own household. The book provides insight into how you can give clothes multiple lives in your own wardrobe by altering them or changing how we use them. We aim to provide knowledge and inspiration to everyone who wants to reduce the environmental impact of their own clothing consumption. The book will also make it possible to better understand the debate surrounding clothes and the environment, and it tells the story behind techniques and ideas and who is promoting them today. Lettfiks is written for men and women of all ages, with or without a sewing machine and ten left thumbs, but with one thing in common: they want clothes that fit their life and the planet's life. The book is more than a usual guide to repair. It shows how you can effectively utilize the knowledge you already have or acquire more. It provides insight into how caring for clothes until the very last shred is an important and particularly relevant part of the history of clothes and textiles.
Lettfiks is the third book in a trilogy, which also includes Lettstelt and Lettkledd. Together, the books provide knowledge and inspiration for sustainable clothing consumption."
This book is extra fun to sell since it mentions this online store and repair, and the cover image was created by the online store's owner Eva Kittelsen!
