Heat-activated textile adhesive
This is an upgraded version of Kearing's permanent textile adhesive, developed to provide a quick, secure, and permanent bond for textiles using heat from an iron. The user-friendly formula creates a strong and durable adhesive bond, perfect for repairs, appliqués, decorative ribbons, patches, and much more.
Apply the adhesive and press with a steam-free iron at 160 °C for 15–20 seconds to achieve a strong and lasting bond.
Both adhesives achieve similar results, but one requires a longer drying time, and this one requires the use of an iron, but can then be used when you need a quick result (such as when something is discovered the night before, or the same morning a child needs it for school or something, for example.)
The adhesive is made from water-based, environmentally friendly materials and is safe to use. The non-toxic formula has a low odor and is well-suited for creative projects for the entire family. Once the adhesive has cured, the bond remains flexible and durable, even after washing, dry cleaning, and drying. The adhesive dries soft and preserves the textile's original feel and softness.
Winter Storage
- The product has limited frost protection and may freeze when stored at 0 °C or lower.
- If the adhesive has frozen, place the closed tube in warm water until thawed.
- Shake the tube well before use.
- If the adhesive has not separated when dispensed, freezing will not have affected its performance.
