It exists, it's called CORK! Cork is bark and comes from the cork oak tree, Quercus Suber. And it is not at all endangered, as many people believe.
The bark is peeled from the trees every 9 years and grows back. A repetitive process that cleans the air of CO2. It is important to manage cork forests and utilize this unique material in the best possible way. A small and important part becomes cork leather, a green alternative to animal leather.
