Selbu spinneri – a small spinning mill with a heart for quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability. We produce yarn and wool products from Norwegian wool, within an all-Norwegian value chain.

Our yarns are made in Klæbu, Trøndelag, from 100% Norwegian wool within a local, all-Norwegian value chain. We sort the wool ourselves and use it for what it is best suited for, allowing us to utilize all the fine Norwegian wool for beautiful quality yarn. We offer a wide selection of yarns, from the softest yarns with merino, angora, and alpaca, to coarser yarns with high durability, elasticity, and luster.

We produce our products sustainably, without unnecessary chemicals, through frugal, small-scale production. In doing so, we help preserve open cultural landscapes and old, Norwegian sheep breeds. Our goal is to create good, safe workplaces based on the production of quality products from local resources.
