With these water-soluble patterns, you can more easily sew sashiko patterns!
Cut out the desired size (or use the whole thing as is), stick the patch onto the garment, sew, and rinse. The patch disappears, and the stitches remain.
If you are using it for repair, you should attach a patch to the outside or inside of the damaged area with basting stitches, for example, before sticking on and sewing with this patch.
Use a piece of fabric similar in material to the garment. If you are mending with thick materials, I recommend fabric with a pre-printed design or that you draw it on yourself, as it can become a bit stiff with an adhesive patch in addition. For thinner fabrics, these are very nice. I also recommend attaching the patch for a while before sewing. When the adhesive dries, it's easier to sew.
