Buy fabric with a pre-printed sashiko pattern you can embroider!
The pattern disappears in the wash. NB: Do not iron the fabric before washing it, as the print may become permanent!
Sold per 10 cm. 1 unit is 10 cm. The print is quite large, so I recommend not buying less than 5 units. The fabric is 116 cm wide, the print covers a width of approximately 109 cm.
Currently available in 2 patterns, but there are more that can be ordered if they become popular!
They can be used as ordinary fabric that you embroider on, or to repair or reinforce other garments.
Instructions for sashiko will eventually be available on this website, but it will take some time. Many people have wanted sashiko supplies for a long time, so I am choosing to sell before I can provide instructions in Norwegian for those who want them.
Search for sashiko on YouTube and you will find some good help! There are also dedicated sashiko groups on Facebook, for example, and several handicraft associations offer sashiko courses, so check a handicraft association near you!
