Dygon Textile Dye Remover removes color from textiles before new dyeing. Used to pre-treat textiles before dyeing. Removes previous textile dye, leaving the textiles with a light, neutral color.
Does not contain chlorine, does not damage textiles.
AREA OF USE:
Use on natural fiber and nylon textiles. See separate instructions for wool and silk.
NOTE! Not suitable for polyester, acetate, acrylic or treated textiles (e.g. waterproofed)

CONSUMPTION:
One capsule is enough for 250 g of dry textiles
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Wear rubber gloves. Remove the metal packaging. Weigh the textiles dry.
2. Thoroughly wet the textiles.
3. Fill a large pot (or another fireproof and rustproof container) with very hot water.
4. Dissolve the powder in 500 ml of hot water and add it to the pot.
5. Place the textiles in the pot, ensuring they are completely covered by water.
6. Bring the water to a boil, then simmer while stirring. Continue until the color has disappeared, max. 30 minutes.
7. Rinse thoroughly. Wash the textiles in hot water with washing powder. Rinse well. The textiles are now ready for new dyeing.
Wool and silk
1. Be careful. Start with lukewarm water. Place the garments in the pot.
2. Do not boil the water, heat the water gradually. The water should be hot, but MUST NOT boil. Let the textiles soak for about 20 minutes while stirring. Remove the pot from the heat. Let stand and cool for 10 minutes.
3. Remove the textiles from the pot, and cool completely, before rinsing in hot water. Wash and rinse as usual.
BE AWARE OF:
Some colors can be difficult to remove, e.g. bright blue, bright green or indigo. If in doubt, test the product in an inconspicuous area, e.g. a loop etc.
Use the product in a well-ventilated room, avoid inhalation. Keep out of reach of children.
