Kogin is a type of embroidery that resembles Norwegian smøyg or counted stitch. Geometric patterns are created by covering areas of fabric with horizontal stitches, counting your way between loosely woven fabric and building up the pattern row by row.

With these kits, you can make a purse with a metal clasp. Use it to organize sewing supplies or other small items, to carry it around, or as permanent storage at home.

NB! The included instructions are in Japanese. They largely consist of illustrations, but if you have never sewn before, it might be a bit difficult to interpret them. Many smartphones have translators you can use by taking a picture of text, so that's one way to make the instructions easier to interpret.
