This kogin thread is from Takagi Sensei's studio in Tokyo.
Very limited edition. If it sells out quickly, I can see if I can go and buy more before I leave Japan. Ships from our office after November 27th.
The thread is dyed with subtle color variations (some with stronger contrast than others). The image of a finished work shows an example of a result with thread with color variations like this.
Each ball is approx. 40 m long. It is used for Kogin, which is a form of counted thread embroidery, so 1 ball of thread is enough for 40 rows of stitches that are 1 meter long, approximately. (Slightly less due to thread fastening, etc.)
The pictures show 3 balls at a time, this is the maximum number I have of each (one of them has 4).
The price is for 1 ball.
