Product No. 3 in the Mend The World product line.
We have created a template for WATERMELON
The watermelon has all the same colors as the Palestinian flag. They have become an important symbol after the Palestinian flag was banned following the Six-Day War in 1967 when Israel began its occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. Young men have been arrested for carrying sliced watermelon in the streets as a substitute for the flag.
This is the digital product with instructions and an illustration/template that you can print yourself and transfer with carbon paper, Solufix, or similar techniques (more suggestions in the instructions)
30 NOK from each sale will be donated to a family in Gaza via Operation Olive Branch's list of families trying to evacuate.
Due to the urgent situation, we will continue to sell even when we run out of thread and ship as soon as we receive refills.
We are starting by helping to get journalist Ahmad Ghanim's family out of Gaza. Please donate directly!
