These water-soluble patterns make it easier to cross-stitch or do similar grid-based/Aida decorations and repairs. Cut out the desired size (or use the whole sheet as is), stick the patch onto the garment, stitch your desired motif, then rinse away the patch with water. Only your stitches will remain!
If you're using it for repairs, you should attach a patch to the outside or inside of the damaged area before sticking on and stitching with this patch. Use a piece of fabric similar to the garment and baste it on before stitching the pattern.
The holes here have a 2.5 mm spacing, which is slightly larger than standard Aida. We sell patterns with 2.2 mm spacing, which is a more common size, here.
